This is one of the friendliest Cafés I have ever visited. If you are in and around the Dalston area then def pop in for a great Coffee or two and some wonderful homemade Flapjack or Victoria Sponge. Oh Pancakes at the weekend are incredible too!

Why Dalston only just now got a place this cool is beyond me- it's about bloody time! The decor is a weird but appealing combination of Scandinavian minimalism, Nanna's place and a bogun's living room circa 1987. They just need a velvet leopard skin throw for the sofa to complete!
I own my own espresso bar (dose) in the city and what do I want to do on my one and only day off? Go to a cafe and have someone else make my coffee- and I'm pretty fussy about how it's done, there's only 8 places in all London I'll let make my coffee and these guys are on that very exclusive list.

Perfect neighbourhood cafe

I have been living in London for almost a decade waiting for a local spot like this - no mingy caff for us in newington green/dalston, proper coffee in a laid back and hip environment and the super nicest barristas and mostest ever bestest cakes from steve. Would happily move in if they would have me. A word of warning, the flapjacks have toffee in them, so they are not healthy no matter how much they try to convince you...but they are DIVINE so all butter is forgiven.

Great new cafe with laid back atmosphere and friendly staff - just what the area needs. Delicious coffee, sandwiches and cakes - what more could you want! I'll be back.

It's great to see such a nice, friendly coffee place open up in Dalston. It's a really relaxing place to sit, chill, chat and watch the world (and the parking wardens) go by. They even wrote my name on the wall so that they can count the number of coffees I have and give me a free coffee when I've bought 10! So much better than one of those discount cards you always lose.
