Brand new but beautiful!

We stayed two nights at the latest addition to the Hotel du Vin - their Edinburgh location - about a fortnight ago. Despite only being fully opened less than a month, the hotel was fully fucntioning, the staff trained up and exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were kindly upgraded to the nicest room they had (without any blagging either!) which was a stunning room with a huuuuge bed, free stnading bath and separate bathroom - gorgeous. The food in the bistro is really good too, and they have some excellent bed, dinner and breakfast offers on their site. In addition to the resto, there's a whisky snug (i.e. a cosy little bar with as much whisky choices as you can shake a stick at) and a cigar shack (cool looking, heated covered area outside for you smokers). Highly recommend!
