The Peacock is Battersea and Clapham Junction London's award winning 2am late night cocktail bar, restaurant & night club venue, but with a twist, combining burlesque and cabaret early evening with a cheesy 70s 80s 90s 00's retro club after, every Friday & Saturday, to create truly awesome club nights. The styling, drinks selection and service are exceptional too. You can read all about it at our website and also about our other great products including our hugely popular cocktail classes for birthday party, hen night, stag party, corporate events and team building events. Check out our photo gallery and new PeacockBar YouTube Video Channel

Despite being only open twelve months The Peacock has already received rave reviews in the Press including being rated "Top London Burlesque Club", "Top London Cabaret Club", "Top London 80s night", "Top Clapham Nightclub" by View London, as well as being awarded "Best London Small Venue 2010" by Function-Fixers, London's leading private party venue finding service. OH and modesty prevents me even mentioning the rave reviews in Time Out and Fluid Foundation for our cocktail mixing classes

Want to make your party /event really special. Check out our drinks, food and party treat options including "Stars In Their Eyes" (where you go on stage with our performers), "Brideshead" White Tie Champagne Receptions and our our hugely popular Peacock " Flaming"gateaus (with Roman flares and personalised message) . More recently we have used our theatrical skills to create Romantic cocktail classes , Party cocktail lessons, Corporate cocktail making classes and our all new "The Apprentice" Corporate cocktail training team building event evenings. Highly recommended for starry eyed couples, birthday party / hen night groups, corporate event planners, and team building event organizers wanting to do something a bit different.

Peacock Bar London Reviews

Loud night out - It is a loud and crowded place which is just what I like - we had a good time in Peacock Bar although there was a delay with drinks with that amount of people - which is understandable. And it is close by to other places if you would like to have a little pub trip. It is easy to access from public transport.

Chocs cupcakes cocktails cream teas - Finding the right afternoon of hen party activities when you have biggish group (17 of us) with a couple of mums in attendance too is tricky! We did not want too much traveling (two of us are pregnant) around or anything too energetic but could not face another spa day or anything too serious or wacky (like fish pedicures uugh!). My sis recommended an afternoon at Peacock's so I booked us all in for their "Shake, Bake & Dip" chocs, cupcake & cocktails lessons with cream teas. We all had a lovely time. The venue is cute in a shabby chic way and all the staff (who were lovely) are dressed up to the nine's. Think polka dots for the girls and white tie for the boys. The classes are very much on the party tip - I do not think Gordon Ramsey need have too much to fear from us - but that is just what we wanted. The staff get you all dressed up in 40s style aprons and take photos throughout which is a nice touch plus you get these retro polka dot boxes to take your cupcakes home too. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the bar as it is chocka a block with groups doing different activities and just about everyone is dressed up so you do not feel self conscious either. All in all a lovely afternoon finished off with a scrumptious cream tea.

Don't go for the enertainment! - Burlesque show, what Burlesque show. Can you really call an old bloke singing karaoke style songs for an hour a Burlesque show! Dreadful entertainment, don't go there if you are expecting more. Stipper was quite amusing though. To say the Bookings and Markeing Manager is a rude man is an understatement. I think he needs to learn how to be poilte to his guests. You know who your are! Ordered the flaming cake for friends birthday, what a rip off! He asked for a funny message which they didn't even use, thanks! On a positive note the food's good, which is not what you would expect in a place like this. There was a great atmosphere but then then we were a large group. Would I come to Peacock Bar again, no, wouldn't want to give that guy anymore of my business. Would I recommend it, not even to my worst enemy!!!

Excellent for 40th Birthday Party - My wife booked my long overdue 40th birthday last Saturday at Peacock Restaurant (having a birthday in between Christmas and New Year causes no end of logistical problems with kids and stuff)and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I was very pleasently surprised as the dressing up, burlesque & dining caper is not really my thing, although now, if my wife has her way we shall be doing it every time we go out. However the trick where they get men of a certain age to go on stage by telling them the song is Hey Big Spender when in fact the song is Hey Big Bender does amount to animal cruelty albeit hilarious for everyone else. The 80s bop afterwards however is spot on as reminded me of long gone care free student days before I called spell mortgage let alone have one. The cocktails were spiffing too. Anyway thank you to the Peacock staff, Miss Jessie Pie and Happy New Year everyone. I shall certainly return..... for my 50th but possibly much much earlier if "she who must be obeyed" has anything to do with it.

Wild wild wild NYE Party - Best NYE party I have ever been too. Complete madness from start to finish. Super shows, food, drinks and cheesey DJS. All this packed into a tiny Battersea bar (sorry Clapham club). My only grumble is that the food whilst good was a little on the slow side and it waqs a bit busy (to say the least). But how can you grumble when the host is going around yout table pouring sambucca and tequila down your throats? Incre4dible atmosphere. Only just recovered ..........

Fun Girls Night Out - My friends and i had a great girl's night out at The Peacock Bar. We went on a hot saturday night and i have to say it was so crowded in there we thought it would be terrible but it made it even more fun! The drinks service was slow to begin with but after we were seated our hostess ended up doing first few rounds of table service which we thought was raeally nice. The cocktail were cheap and tasty (come were even strong which we weren't complaining about!) the music was fun and cheesey! we ended up knowing the words to every song! It was great to sing and dance along to! We didnt end up having any food but from what we could see of other tables there looked like there were alot to choose from. My only compaint was that is was so crowded that there didnt seem like there was any air con going through and that the toilets were a little cramped but otherwise a great girls night out! id defintely take my friends there for a night out!

“An Evening with Sinatra” Evening Shows
In the evening the pace hots up a tad musically and about 8pm ish expect two mesmerizing shows from our very own David Martini in the Sinatra / Dean Martin tradition
"David Martini" comes to us straight from performing in The Rat Pack as our very own Frank Sinatra absolutely oozing charm & sophistication. In fact this guy is so cool he is practically comatose. Except for one thing ........ ....he does so so love the ladies. So don't be surprised when he walks into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady to sing a love song too. Top notch singing and improv from cabaret's self proclaimed coolest cat.
After that our Dj will keep you entertained with the best tracks from the big band lounge era till carriages at 12.30am.
Oh and if there are any performers in the audience let us know and we will see if we can put you on stage too!

Fresh fruit smoothies and naughty 2 for 1 cocktails all night
In keeping with Hollywoods obsession with healthy living our mixologists have conjured up a bewildering range of smoothies from banana to strawberry from a very unHollywood £3. However in keeping with the naughty side of Hollywood we also have our delicious range of cocktails 2 for 1 all day /night as well.

Oh and our mixologists would be more than happy to take you behind the bar to show you how to make the cocktail of your choice for that special person in your life

Terrible place! - What a joke! I went with a group of 15 friends last night and have never been so disappointed in my life. It was so bad that I am compelled to write a review- something I have never done before. Like many other people said on other websites, we paid in advance for a three course meal but all we were given was our starter! We had to leave at 11:30 as we were too hungry to wait any longer, and we finally wised up to the fact that dinner was never coming, despite the 'managers' repeated promises that it would come 'after the next song'. Do not believe any positive review you read about this place as it is so obvious they are written by the management. Check out reviews on other websites as they all say the same thing- how horrible this place is. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and I have been telling everyone how miserable The Peacock is. It's only a matter of time before this place goes out of business.

Great times at the Peacock - My friend recently got engaged so the girls and I planned a hen party for her at he Peacock. From the get-go I felt confident about my decision to do her party at the Peacock. The manager was so helpful and he walked me through everything with such class and style. It was PERFECT! I really liked this place and and all my friends had a wonderful time. Thank you Peacock, your staff is amazing and so are you!

Good times - My friend and I had our 25th birthday party at the Peacock bar. After meeting with the manager, we both felt at ease about the party. He could not have been more helpful in setting up the birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for. They roped off an entire portion of the bar at the back for our party. We arrived a little after 10pm, and everything was set up. We provided them with a guest list and none of our friends had any trouble at the door. The music was AMAZING. Our friends and I danced all night and had a GREAT time. So THANK YOU to everyone at Peacock bar who so nice and made our birthdays special. We had a brilliant time as did our friends. PS: The bouncers at the door wished me 'happy birthday' every time I walked in and out and the B52's are a must!

Amazing night!! - My boyfriend booked my 25th birthday party at The Peacock about a week ago. I was a little hesitant to have a party here since I've been to this place a few times in the past and the crowds were unbearable. We were able to reserve some space for about 30 of my close friends. It was very convenient for us, since we live nearby and expecting a lot of out-of-town guests. We arrived about 10:30, with a group of about 15 to start. Once we told the doorman we were here for a party, we were quickly let in and made our way to the back. We were quickly greeted by our adorable waitress and she began taking drink orders. Everything about the night was great. There was just enough space for my guests to chat and catch-up. Drinks were never empty. I recommend this place for anyone looking to have a good time with friends in an atmosphere where everyone can socialize and dance if desired.

Wow! Hidden gem in SW London - This was my first time planning a party at a night club and I must say I was not disappointed. I held my sister's hen party at the Peacock bar and had an amazing night! It was about 12 ladies in total and had reservations. From the moment we got there, we were escorted in, followed by drinks. Throughout the course of the night, the staff kept checking to make sure we were happy with the service and wanted to make sure we were having a good time. Definitely felt like VIP that night! Kudos to all the staff who helped make this night special. Very efficient and a pleasure to work with! We spoke several times before the event in order to provide me with the necessary info...not to mention, he goes out of his way to make the event memorable for those involved. Music was great lovely ambience and drinks were non stop!!! We definitely got ur party on that saturday night. My guests had a great time and my sister was elated. Thanks Peacock! Definitely a place to revisit.

Great fun for bf's bidrthday - I threw my boyfriend a surprise 27th birthday party in early September on a saturday night and I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. I had a larger than expected party (I believe at least 40 people). However, thanks to months of planning and the helpful assistance of the party manager, the night was a success! Prices are very affordable especially if you are buying individual drinks. To be honest, I did have one gripe about the night. The venue was ridiculously packed (that which you cannot help on weekends). I wished that I had more than one waitress for the night but honestly, given the circumstance and the large number of people who showed up, the staff at the Peacock Bar did a great job. Our waitress was a sweetheart and made sure that our party got everything they needed. And since everyone who came out really enjoyed themselves, I was very very happy. I would definitely highly recommend this spot if you want to hang out with a nice sized group of friends. It gets a little difficult if you have a large party, but you can make it happen. Just be prepared to spend some dough if your party is pretty big. I'm definitely coming back because my friends cannot stop talking about all the fun they had. And more importantly, my boyfriend was over the moon!!

Good for birthdays - I was in The Peacock on Saturday night to celebrate my birthday with about 30 of my friends. The Manager was extremely accommodating despite booking at the last minute.

I thought the bar staff did a fantastic job, very friendly and extremely efficient considering how many people where there. I don’t think I waited more than a minute to get a drink.

I have heard people say the bar is maybe a bit expensive on the drinks front but I thought the prices where quite reasonable and it was good to see cocktails that you could actually drink rather than 2 sips and your finished.

altogether a very good night and I would recommend it to anyone.

So big thanks to Peacock team.

Hen party central! - Cool & retro (more retro than cool) - this is where the hen parties are at. And from what I've seen the staff look after those girls well!

Cocktail are good although after 5th or 6th mojito everything seems to be a bit of a blur...

Burlesque, cabaret, cocktails, DJs - Amazing burlesque and cabaret with super 80s cheese afterwards. Cocktails damn fine too

I don't wantto ruin the show but lets just say it involves Madonna eating jelly babies - she throws the yellow ones into the crowd saying "I don't like these" same with teh red ones, same with teh green ones .... then she finds a black one.

Well like I said I do not want to ruin the show. After that it was disco dancing heaven - Blondie we love you and why do'nt more clubs play your hits???

Thank you all at The Peacock for a great night

Best Clapham Cocktail Bar!!!!!!!! - I was bowled over not just by the entertainment but by the cocktails.

We had taken the mojito heaven option for our birthday celebrations and we and our friends had two staff making us different mohito combinations - (champagne, strawberry, raspberry you name it) all night.

After that its all rather a blur bit I dimly recall some trannie making some rather lewd jokes much to everyone’s amusement and me dancing around the recommend for dancefloor rather ineffectively. The staff very kindly gave us all a free round of shots at the end of the night too and put in a cab too

High recommend for cocktails, cabaret, Djs and dancing

The best new bar club in Clapham - We were absolutely blown away by the Peacock it ranks with LoungeLover and the original Atlantic Bar & Grill as a place which is cuting new ground on the London club scene.

We booked in based on a recommendation from a burlesque artist ("Marilyn Monroe bombshell") who had peRformd there and had raved about the "perky Peacock" so I decided to have my 30th there but did not really know what to expect.

The first thing you notic is the styling its all stuff from the 30s, 40s and 50s with a few Chaise Longues and Georgian gilded sofas (and a rocking horse!) thrown in too.

Utterly mad but also utterly brilliant The drinks and staff are really different too and I got talked into trying a round of Coconut flavoured Belgian beers and Chocolate gin shots.

Tasted suprisingly good. But its the entertainment and atmosphere that really blew my mind.

People just come on stage and do amazing shows pole dancing, singers (Frank Sinatra) and then when you think its all over in the middle of the DJ set on comes a girl singing Abba hits - everyone went wild.

And everyone is so friendly you feel you like are part of some secret society. Well done the Peacock for doing something so different!
