Good Meat

4.0 out of 5.0

March 26, 2009

So I've actually been here twice in the past week - I'd love to say that someone was picking up the tab for me but alas I had to pay my own way.

So the decor is kind of odd - the chairs all have actual cow hide on them and the rest of the place is this dark wood or faux wood. It sort of looks like it was designed in the 90s - maybe it was?

The meat is awesome, I first had the 600g rib-eye and it was delicious - the second time I went I had the Churrasco Rump which is a spiral cut rump steak marinated in all sorts of garlic and stuff - it was pretty good but I wish I'd had the Sirloin.

The beer is pretty good - they have a Pilsner and a Wheat beer both brewed by Meantime and they're both perfectly drinkable.

My ony gripe with this place is that it's a little souless - perhaps I'm just too much of a Hawksmoor fan but if I had the choice I wouldn't hesitate giving this place a miss and heading to Hawksmoor.
