The Venue, is a relatively young club, it opened in December 2006. It is on Jacksons Row, Manchester, in between Deansgate and Albert Square. It's open three nights a week playing Retro Wednesday,Twist & Shout Friday,and Mish Mash Saturday, all with an Indie Twist. It's an underground club with a pretty cool crowd who attend. Student and flyer discounts available on entry price all nights.

Chris James plays some classic tracks, and I had more of a chance to check out the drinks list which came in very cheap for this end of town.
The staff were pretty good and even the doormen were quite charming. This is a must visit place for midweek, I don't think that Manchester music gets any better.
