Good restaurant, great building

Deep, dark, always inviting. The staff must be the friendliest in central London (no, not sarcastic) and the brick work and low-lighting add to the comfort of this safety-first Italian.
The food isn't incredible - they might have been more generous with the mushrooms and sausage in my Penne al Cartoccio - but a good wine list and pretty good value, too. (60 quid for two people.)
Highlight: the waiting staff.
Lowlight: the low light.
