Very useful guys to know

Plumbers, some have a good name some have a bad name. But then I sometimes think that we generally expect a bit too much from these chaps. I used this company after having used some of the major plumbing companies in London. Now there is good and there is exceptionally good these guys are somewhere in between. Yes they carried out all that was asked and paid for, they were polite and the work was to a high standard, but when it came to paying them by cheque this was refused as they said they no longer accepted cheques so this did cause me some inconvenience. But in fairness to them it was clearly stated on their website.
I would recommend them as they are available 7 days a week.

As winter approached I decided to get several quotes to have my boiler replaced which was basically beyond economical repair.
Firstly this company were not the cheapest, but like they explained to us whilst quoting for the work, it's not just about fitting a gas boiler!
On the day they started, they protected my carpets and moved anything that was liable to be damaged, they cleaned the radiators and pipe work, fitted energy efficient electronic controls, which although looked rather daunting to use, they are quite simple. The entire job took just under 2 days to complete and there were no hidden extras, even though they fitted additional radiator valves. The good news is now that the work has been completed the house heats up in half the time as it did before, and with our gas bills being greatly reduced I feel we made the correct choice in choosing this company...

Bates Heating to the rescue!

Having just arrived home from work at 8pm only to see water had flooded the hallway wooden flooring. I called several so called emergency plumbers, but what they wanted to do was to make appointments for the following day or a day later. What they failed to understand was that I had an emergency and they were advertising that they offered out of hours emergency plumbing repairs. Just so annoying and a waste of time calling some of these companies.
Eventually we called the guys from www.londonplumbers.co.uk said they would arrive within the hour, which they did, quickly found the source of the leak on the boiler, repaired it promptly and had the gas boiler up and running within the hour. I honestly could not find any fault with the plumber, the invoice was very reasonable especially as it was late at night. I asked him for some business cards so I could give them to my friends should they ever need a genuine emergency London plumber.
