!Bar enigma is a small but perfectly preportioned bar in Newcastle city centre. I had been a fleeting visitor in the past, but as an avid pool lover i wanted to check out how this cute but modern bar could now possibly house five full size pool tables. The answer, very comfortably! All five tables were buzzing with activity, so while i patiently waited for my turn i was invited to join a mix of new and regular customers happily partying away at the bar. I was first met by a very strapping and friendly barman (who i later found out was the new owner) and straight away felt like i was part of the gang! Being a city centre bar, i was pleasantly suprised to discover the cost of drinks was very reasonable and i made sure that myself and my friends took full advantage of the shot and spirit offers available. We were also given some free food samples from the up and coming new menu (fyi,Enigma has the best burgers i have ever tasted)! We partied till 2am as they have a late licence (kicking out is at 3am) and there was an overspill from nightclub World Headquarters opposite. The atmosphere and the music was great and i even managed to fit in a few badly played games of pool! Would definetly recomend a visit.
