The Hemingway opened on the 3rd of July 2010 in one of Victoria Park’s most treasured and revered buildings. Having spent several weeks lovingly restoring the frontage and interior the doors finally opened to provide the residents of this unique area of Hackney with their new local pub.
The Hemingway is owned and operated by Seven-Eighths Ltd – essentially a group of young men with too much time on their hands and a shared desire to open a nice pub (or two).
