The coffee is the focal point of this understated by still stylish coffee shop.
There are various types of coffee to choose either blended or single origin as well as a range of different methods. Don't worry, they've got the big espresso machine and you can still just ask for a latte or flat white but if you're feeling a littel adventurous then the helpful chap behind the counter can talk you through the alternatives.
Service is really friendly. If you're sitting in they take your order and bring it over to you within a few minutes.
The seating is either shared tables or a single seating on a long banquette. Music adds to the atmosphere without being intrusive - jazz, last time I was there.
Food is basic - pastries, cake, toast, banana bread (two rounds for only £1.50), granola, fruit and yoghurt. But then it is the coffee that's the star of the show rather than the food.
