dreadful, expensive, and mean!

Was not impressed. Great location and nice enough venue, tables etc and excellent view. The prices however were astronomical and the portions were miniscule. My Italian teacher had warned me I would get tiny little bits of food on a plate and she was right.
Seriously do not bother with this place. I went with clients who were paying, but as an example my venison main course was £26 and I got 4 x 4cm pieces of venison on a small plate of vegetables. Kept having to eat bread to fill me up. Felt it was a complete con.
This is part of the people who own The Witchery and I know a local chef who has said that he has eaten at all of their restaurants and not been impressed.
No desire to try the Witchery and pay £25 for a main course that should be a starter at half the price, and no desire to run the very possible risk of being disappointed.
