This Brass Rubbing Centre is inside on old medieval building. It has a large display of carvings, and replica brass from many different periods in Scottish history. Monumental brass and carved stones are available to the public for rubbings. Staff are on hand to help, discuss and explain in detail the history of each artefact and its meaning and use in history. Admission is free, although there is a small charge for materials used.
