Gold sea is definitely one of Edinburgh's better chippies. A well known family run business it always bustles during lunchtime school runs or with evening crowds on their way back from work or to the pub. Its staff are locally based and efficent, serving crispy chippie fare to a good standard , with a pizza oven and a section for burgers and kebabs attached.

With Cleanliness not a problem, workers obviously take pride in what they do. Its Scottish fare in all its high cal glory but I would recommend - if only once a week!
