Jakobs is a great place for a casual lunch, or maybe to grab something to bring home for dinner when you can't be bothered to cook. The food is wholesome and tasty, with mostly Mediterranean dishes to choose from. There are lots of veggie options (great tabbouleh), as well as satisfying salads and sandwiches.

There is a smallish seating area in the back, although a lot of the business is take out. You order up at the counter where there is a display of what's available. This would be a good place to get a box lunch to bring to the park.

Before Royal Albert

This is a convenient spot if you're hitting the Royal Albert Hall and are pressed for time or don't want something too formal.

Loads of fresh, yummy stuff at the counter - the stuffed aubergines are rich and excellent - and you can get a plate with 3 or 5 different dishes.

Baklava has been a bit dry the times I've been.
