A Great Chinatown Find

The first time I went to Fung Shing was on Chinese New Year and the place was packed, but they had a decently comfortable waiting area where we were able to grab a Tsingtao beer before being seated.

The place doesn't do much looks-wise to differentiate itself from the other restaurants in Chinatown and the service leaves something to be desired, but the food definitely sets it apart.

With an extensive menu of meats, poultry, fish, seafood and vegetarian options, there's a little something for everyone. At my table, we had veggie spring rolls, meat spring rolls, egg fried rice, veggie fried rice, tofu and stuffed peppers (a great vegetarian option), curry crab, lemon chicken and a duck dish. Everyone enjoyed the food, and we even got some little chocolates for dessert. No fortune cookies, though.
