42nd Street is easily one of the best clubs, if not the best, for both mainstream Indie Music and a good night out in Manchester. Although now slightly more pretentious than it used to be, it still hammers out some great tunes, from old classics like Supersonic, to newer efforts from Elbow. The crowd is a mixed bunch of students and youn professionals all adoring the euphoria of good guitar based music. All in all it never disappoints
