Searching for that "special something to wear for my sister's 18th I trawled round Notts for 3 hours. And then found everything I could ever have imagined at Baklash vintage and retro clothing - just opposite the Theatre Royal. They have surpassed themselves this autumn with a fantastic range of 60's dresses in superb condition - no rips, funny smells or broken zips here. I love vintage and can honestly say that I've never seen such a fabulous collection outside of London!! Get down there now, if you love vintage, you'll be in heaven

ok so we all know, dont we girls that vintage fashion is hot right now, but how do you avoid having to rummage around in those seriously pongy warehouse type outlets looking for your vintage gem? Well I have the answer, a wonderful and fabulously inexpensive little place right opposite the theatre royal in Nottingham - Backlash! This is not old clothes imported by the tonne and thrown on to the shop floor! You'll find gorgeous little frocks from the 60's, one-of-a-kind velvet jackets, and a superb range of truly unique hand-customised up-cycled clothing to suit all pockets and tastes. Second hand and antique clothing

Great place if you want some clothes for a fancy dress or just if that's your style. Mostly 60s style stuff, but sometimes some modern with a 60s slant. Particularly good are the dresses (not for me you understand!) which are very unique and at knock down prices.
