A beautiful atmosphere, attentive staff (some might say a little too attentive), fantastic food, great wine...but it is pretty expensive!

Somewhere to go for a really special occasion, you really do get what you pay for, so long as you have the palatte for the sort of dishes that World Service serve -if you are more than happy with a beer & a kebab then this is probably not the place for you.

Verging on pretentious, but not so much as to not be an enjoyable evening...certainly worth a look if you can spare the pennies -but many restaurants in Nottingham with equal quality of food at a fraction of the price ARE available!

There's no doubt this is one of the more expensive restaurants in Nottingham, but is it worth it?
Well the service for a start is excellent. It really feels like a special occasion as you sit in the reception area sipping a specially chosen cocktail or aperitif, and the staff are very attentive through your meal. The atmosphere is certainly one of luxury too, but I can't help feeling this isn't followed through with the meal.
For the prices you will pay here, you'd expect your taste buds to be sensing something special and unique. The food is well presented and well cooked, it just doesn't wow me as much as it should do.
