Established in 1971, this was the first independent gallery that specialised in photography. It houses a range of contemporary photos and regularly has exhibitions. Some of the pieces are available for sale and a delivery service is available upon request. They also sell books.

I discovered the Photographers Gallery after a disappointing trip to the National Portrait Gallery. With frequently changing exhibitions, and the most amazing photography book shop, it's a really great place to look at some interesting photography exhibitions and maybe learn something new.
