The playhouse really is great for a good nighht out. Good food, if you choose to eat there - but book in advance, excellent auditorium with very few 'dud' seats (behind pillars etc.), good bar with a good selection of drinks, and they tend to have very good plays there. You may not know the actors, but I don't think that matters.
