George & Davis Ice Cream Cafe (also known as G&D's) serve a selection of ice cream and coffee. Also served are a wonderful array of pizza bagels (cheese, tomato and various toppings melted on a toasted sesame bagel), melt-in-the-mouth chocolate chip cookies and moist, fudgy chocolate brownies. This branch provides an eat in and takeaway facility and is located in Dartington House.

This is the polar opposite of a starbucks type homogenised cafe: a large selection of home made ice cream from local cows, milkshakes, sorbets, bagels, cakes and waffles. Stays open till 12 every night, and you can win free ice cream if you get their weekly quiz right. Discounts on tuesday (i think?) if you bring in a cow related item. :)
