Kazan has a walnut bar to enjoy an aperitif at whilst taking in the surroundings before enjoying the Middle Eastern cuisine. They serve a special mixed meze which is very popular, as well as a full A La Carte menu which is accompanied by good service and a good atmosphere.

Good quality Turkish

Really good Turkish food!! I've been twice now, with clients, and had the same thing each time - the mixed grill. The menu offers so many choices for starters and mains, and I'd recommend this for large groups so that you can try as many things on the menu as possible.

Service = was of a good standard. We were a group of 14 and everyone's meals came out at the same time - that is rare!

The location is not really that good unless you live in Pimlico, Westminster or Victoria but well suited for team or client lunches/dinners.

Tasty Turkish cuisine

4.0 out of 5.0

This place is a real treat for those who live or work in Victoria. All their food is fresh, healthy and affordable. The decor is pleasant with wood tables, white plates and white cloth napkins, more upscale than most turkish restaurants in that price range. There are 2 rooms when you enter, one as the main dining room and the one off to the side that has a more Turkish-feel, with a round table in the window with cloth seats; more comfortable. I’ve only been there for lunch so have never sat in that room but it seems appropriate for larger parties. They also have a swanky bar downstairs where they serve cocktails.

For lunch when you order a main, you get a cold meze for free (worth over £4). I love their kebabs! I’ve had the monkfish kebab as well as the salmon kebab; both were grilled to perfection although the salmon was tastier. They give you more meat than you can eat and each plate also comes with either a side salad or a black eyed bean and red pepper salad. I can never finish my 2nd kebab so be hungry when you go. They also have the best dolmas I've ever had, with just enough nutmeg to make it sweat but still savory. A main is around £12. They also have another special where you can get 2 cold and 1 hot meze for £10.

Service was very good and attentive, but not over the top. I recommend this place for clients, friends, groups or after work parties.

Turkish delight indeed

If you want to have excellent Turkish fair in a swanky Eastern environment, this place will answer all your needs. The food is scrumptious and melts in your mouth. I had the vegetarian moussaka, which is some of the best I have ever had outside of Turkey itself. Not to be forgotten, the service is helpful and friendly and the prices will delight as well.

Spoilt for choice

We went here for a team meeting and we were spoilt for choice on the amount of food they offered on the menu. We ordered a mixture of kebabs and the portions were very generous! This is also a great restaurant for the health conscious person. If you get the chance, try and book the room downstairs with a real turkish decor. I will be going back for seconds!
