Best department store-after Harrods

5.0 out of 5.0

Love going to the food hall in Selfridges! Staff are normally very helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for.

Second only to Harrods!

Food Hall - disappointing suppliers

3.0 out of 5.0

March 02, 2009

The food hall is quite good, but the fishmonger manning the post let himself down a bit. He was quite clueless, and even told me to keep my very expensive palourde clams in water which isn't correct.

As for the butchers at Jack O'Shea, they gave me a rather substandard piece of pork belly; they just lobbed it in a bag and tied it tightly.

However, the guys on the cheese counter are great.

Moet Lounge

Awesome champagne lounge in Selfridges upstairs... serving all Moet & Chandon based drinks and cocktails...

Pleasant atmosphere and great place to stop for an intimate drink or just to chill out with your shopping!
