While most places will charge you at least £3 for a shoddy smoothie, rushed and made without care leaving you feeling ripped off, The Guarana Bar will have you feeling blissed out and/or high as a kite, and above all well pleased by the time you leave. Like an amazon laboratory, the Guarana Bar sell all kinds of superfoods and herbals highs from cacao nibs to acai berries to honey rose herbal tobacco. With a menu explaining all the benefits you get from each superfood or natural potion, you will find something to suit every mood or occasion.
it's an attractive place too with upstairs seating, lots of green plants and a friendly vibe. This feels a bit like the old alternative and original Brighton, run by real people, individuals with a passion for what they do rather than just jumping on the bandwagon to make a buck. It's a good place to find out what's happening in and around town aswell if you are interested in alternative health, South America, the power of plants, festivals, clubbing and dance music.
