Owner Michael Haralambos opened Zorbas thirty years ago with the restaurant themed on the movie Zorba The Greek. The authentic Greek food is good value and there are a few English dishes as well.

DONT GO

PLEASE READ THIS DONT GO. Possibly the worst meal I have ever had. When we got there it was a very nice place, then I ordered lemonade and orange my lemonade was flat so I thought never mind.
The starter was very nice but there was no oils on the table only salt and pepper. We then ordered chargrilled lamb chops and the kleftika lamb on the bone. we got 6 lamb chops with a slice of lemon and the kleftika was like a cheap tin of chopped tomato with herb had been poured over the top (2 spoonfuls) served with a slice of lemon. Then came our rice and chips about 20 chips and a cupful of rice ( no greek roast potatoes ?)
after finishing and still hungry we paid £38 and nobody asked if we enjoyed our meal. I hope nobody tries to copy this restaurant and would never go there again it would put you off eating greek food for life.
