like a bit but not a lot - This is ok but service can be slow and a bit scouse i.e clueless about how things should be done when you are spending good money on a meal. Can also be a little patronising - when they bring you the meal they explain what everything is. I happen to know that olive oil comes from an olive which grows on trees in the Mediterranean thanks. What is could do with is someone front of house to take charge. Nice modern simple design is the nest part but a bit of a goldfish bowl especially if it's not v busy. Sometimes feel the menu tries too hard. Also, tried to go to the bar at 11.00pm just before Xmas and it was shut but it's part of a hotel! - ended up going to Host over the road and all 8 of us stayed for 2 hours and had cocktails. 21-01-09
