The Philharmonic Dining Rooms is a dazzling Art Nouveau pub where the Men's lavatory is so spectacular that women are invited to view it. Affectionately known as 'The Phil', the pub is opposite the Philharmonic Hall and serves an excellent selection of ales as well as malt whiskies and various wines. They also serve good, traditional pub fayre.

One of the best City Centre bars in Liverpool. Good selection of beers and traditional, stylish tiles and wood panelling, but mainly this pub is all about the atmosphere. Buzzin', energetic and dead friendly. I've only been at weekends, mind, so not sure what it's like on a week night.
