MY WATCH & CLOCK SHOP OF CHOICE

I have been using WATCHWORD mainly for watch and clock repairs for some years. I have had watches by SMITHS, ORIS, ACCURIST, OMEGA and other brands cleaned and overhauled. All the work has been done to my satisfaction, within a reasonable period of time and at prices I felt acceptable for the work done. I have had a Carriage Clock repaired, which took longer than the watch repairs, because of the shortage of qualified clock repairers. The clock has worked well since the cleaning. I have had some old clocks fitted with a new battery movement, when the old movement had failed.
I have bought one SWATCH watch for my American lady friend.
The ownership of WATCHWORD changed in 2011. I found the previous owner very helpful and knowledgeable. The current owner, Amanda, is maintaining the high level of customer service and always keeps me informed about the progress of my repairs.
WATCHWORD remains my Watch and Clock shop of choice.

Very good service

I read the other review from last year, and I think they may have been unlucky that time. I've just had excellent service on a watch repair - good communication back from Watchword letting me know when the repair was going to be ready, and my watch is back to working fine again. I've also had watch batteries replaced there in the past, with no problems.

Terrible service

I had terrible service when I went to get my watch battery replaced - he even damaged my watch. I would never go back again.
