Easy to find and quite conveniently located on the corner of the street. The building is curtained up and you can't see what's going on on the inside, but don't let this stop you going towards it.

Once you make your way in, you're immediately greeted and seated. Pleasant start. I ordered the duck and was amazed at how succulent it tasted, since duck is usually quite dry. I loved the food here and am most definitely going to go back. We ordered some wine and drank ourselves silly, whilst taking in the artwork that was scattered around - all very mystical-looking.

The waitress warned us that we'd be waiting 30 minutes for our mains, and this was the only downside. But, at least we were told in advance.

The selection of vodkas is also a sight to see - and taste, but be careful as you'll quite easily walk out of there with far less money than you had planned and quite a bit merry!

Very courteous and attentive staff - and bloody gorgeous too! Your coat will be waiting for you when you get to the door.

Perfect for groups up to ten!

Trendy Polish Restaurant

Located on a corner in a mostly quiet section of Kensington, you could be forgiven for mistaking Wodka for an ordinary neighborhood restaurant. In fact, Wodka is a quite impressive high end Polish restaurant. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about Polish cuisine, high end or otherwise, but I was pretty pleased with a meal here. Do be prepared to try some dishes or mixtures of ingredients that you might not have had before, and also ask for advice from the well-informed servers if you don't know quite what you want. Also do give the Jack Russel (he's usually standing sentry out front) a scratch behind the ears.
A great selection of vodka's beg your attention at the beginning, middle and end of the meal as well, and you'd do well to give in to temptation. That's probably one of the reasons that this restaurant gets quite chatty and loose by the time the dining room fills up with the varied crowd of locals, foodies and eastern European models (some of whom seem to find employment here as well). Beware of the bill, however, this place ain't for those on a tight budget, but there is a fair ratio of value for the money.
