Quick, competent and cheap manicure
January 26, 2009
My new favorite spot for a quick, competent and cheap mani. Bare bones set-up with 4 or 5 tiny stations all in a row, each worked by a non-nonsense, seen-it-all Asian manicurist. The woman beside me was getting some *serious* work done - involving an electric sanding machine and a technician wearing a surgical mask. For the less adventurous, £15 and about 20 minutes got me a basic, square-tipped, clear polish manicure from a friendly technician. Best to stop in at off-hours rather than at lunchtime, when it gets busy with the local crowd of office workers.
