Arigato Abeno!

A friend and I first went to Abeno for our weekly Monday night dinners, but it turns out they were booked full! So they sent us off to Abeno Too near Leicester Square (a 10 min walk). We felt like we were on a mission because it had to be really good if they were booked on a Monday night.

When we arrived at Abeno Too, the first thing I noticed was the very different set up from the original Abeno. #2 is set up in a bar style. And the benches that you sit on open up so you can put your things inside. I thought that was a clever way to use space and to avoid the food smell from sinking into your clothes.

My friend and I ordered two okonomiyaki (pancake like Japanese dish) to share, two beers, and a shared dessert. Our okonomiyaki chef made everything right on the grill in front of us. Everything was delicious! The damage was only £17 each.

Now I'm going to try to find okonomiyaki recipes online to have my hand at it...
