The Galley is a popular restaurant serving adventurous cuisine, including dishes such as grilled sea bass with vanilla and lime sauce. The sunny terrace is particularly popular in the summer months and the restaurant as a whole has a good bistro atmosphere.

Loved everything about this restaurant from the interior to the staff and most important The Food!!. I had grilled Barramundi fillets over spiced couscous, served with a cucumber and roasted pepper salsa which was amazing. Didnt realise they had another restaurant in Woodbridge (Market Square). That is must on my next evening out - looking forward to it already!

We came here on a very warm evening and I had forgotten that there was a patio outside - it was lovely to be sat out there. The food was good, I had a very nice pasta followed by stem ginger icecream and creme brulee. My wife had duck in a pepper sauce followed by a chocolate parfait. The thing that let the place down was the service, many of the staff had poor english and where unable to understand requests, so, for example, we ended up with a jug of cream being brought to us when we had asked for the bill! Additionally, the meal was spoiled by the poor coffee at the end.

I was so glad though that we had eaten on the patio - when we walked back through the restaurant it was very hot even though there were very few people in there.

All in all though a good meal, service and staff need to be improved.
