If I'm after a "normal" pub in Soho (as opposed to a swanky bar full of tourists where cocktails are £8 upwards and you're lucky if you get a foot in the door, let alone a seat!), then I usually head to the Crown and Two Chairman - it had a musch needed uplift about a year ago, and although its hardly swanky, it is smarter than many other pubs nearby. Wierdly, people tend to stay downstairs, meaning the upstairs if free for me and my old-fogey seat-loving friends :)

I seldom find myself in pubs..but when I do..the experience is pretty much defined by the crowd that sits within the venue. This pub hosts a number of regulars which I'm sure is the case for most pubs. I have to admit though, this one is exceptionally cool - cool people, ample room, two floors, great music. The perfect combination for a good evening.
