I stop into Villandry if i'm looking for somewhere to eat in the area and always have a d'oh moment that I didn't book through top table because you can usually get 50% off food. That said, it's not that expensive and is a nice spot for lunch or dinner.

The food is simple and well-cooked, but not drop dead memorable.

In the summer it's quite nice to sit out on their little astroturf strip and pretend London has a cafe culture!
