Great gym

I must admit I was really impressed with this gym after joining 2 months ago.
I believe it has recently had a refurbishment and new manager put in from what fellow members have said and that has made the difference.

I like the pool, it isn't as big as David Lloyds but it is more than adequate for swimming lengths and is clean and not busy.

The gym is good with all the equipment you need and I found the staff friendly.

I have tried a few classes and the timetable is huge so I don't know why anyone would complain.

I would fully recommend joining if not at least have a look!

Poor gym

I've been a member for 7 months of what is sold (and charged) as a 'premium'gym. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to even basic standards. Towels, which are charged as extra, are often unavailable. The changing rooms are cramped and lockers hard to come by at peak times, made worse by them being rented out. The pool was unheated for weeks over Christmas with no information given or available. Showers are unclean and smell. Soap dispensers and changing bag dispensers are filled irregularly. A few of the staff are really friendly but most are less than welcoming. The gym is generally badly run and I'd recommend going anywhere but here.
