...charming and yummy!

i was dragged by my buddy steve there and totally enjoyed it. you don´t wanna go there on your first date, because it is crowded, loud and potentially smoking hot, because their air condition sucks. BUT - it is yummy coffee and it is in a very vibrant and groovy neighboorhod.

the coffee place

5.0 out of 5.0

i was taken here by a local to flat white, and then kept going back - the service, coffee, location, decor and experience is great, if its for a quick take away coffee, or a catch up with a friend...where better than here.

great coffee poor service

ok the coffee is great and well worth the wait but the service is average at best - the 'i'm doing you a favour by serving you coffee' school of customer service doesn't work for me.

As a Seattleite in London, Flat White made me feel at home. I appreciate that they don't use over roasted beans like most mass produced coffee spots and take care when pouring. defintely check it out!

Seriously good coffee shop

If you want a perfectly made cup of Joe or flat white or latte, Flat White is your place. These guys don't mess around when it comes to quality (Monmouth) coffee drinks. They are so meticulous about how each shot of espresso is poured to get the best taste and that the milk is steamed to perfection to make a pretty design in your cup. It's coffee art! The Kiwi's that work there are pretty cool too. I just wish when I ordered extra hot, the milk would be extra hot.

Best coffee in the UK

5.0 out of 5.0

July 22, 2007

I'm an avid coffee drinker from Sydney and I've struggled to find a good coffee in the UK, that was until I got introduced to Flat White. The coffee beans are very tasty, the coffee is made with care and attention, by real baristas, and it is never burnt. Over time I've noticed that they're not heating the milk enough to my liking, but it's easily solved if you simply ask.

Kiwi coffee: one for the addicts

5.0 out of 5.0

July 10, 2007

Already known throughout the antipodean networks of London, Flat White serves coffee to kill for...that's an exaggeration, but only slight! DRINK Coffee, obviously - and the eponomous 'flat white' is the one to order (whether you're an existing addict or want to become one). It's basically like caffe latte but less of the latte - although milk is heated, distinguishing it from a regular old white coffee. The quality of the beans and expertise of the barristas does, however, ensure that whatever your coffee preference you'll be satisfied. EAT Excellent range of fresh, scrummy cabinet food - bacon bagels; fruit muffins; banana bread (eat hot with butter); afghan biscuits; ANZAC biscuits - pride of the south pacific. FEEL Relaxed. Often (but not always) kiwi sounds. Chipper service. People drift in and out, but some sit for hours...TOP TIP Has to be flat white doesn't it!? - but the bagels are perfect all times of day. PRICE Coffee and snack for two approximately £10 - although multiple cups soon add up (around £2.50 a pop).
