The Best Wedding shop in Edinburgh!

Rachel Scott Couture provided my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dress, stationary, favours and many of the ideas for my big day in December 2009.
Rachel, herself, was the most attentive and accommodating wedding dress supplier that I met (and believe me I visited many different shops in Edinburgh!). Her style is very unique and she made me feel very special, as if I was the only girl in the world getting married.
The shop was comfortable and private which allowed me to go along with all the girls to try on all the different dresses I could.
The quality of the dresses was second to none, I was lucky enough to wear mine twice!
Rachel and her staff knew exactly what would/ wouldn't suit me and my wedding. Rachel even opened up the shop late at night which allowed me to pop in after work to pick things up, this was a huge help in the hectic lead up to the wedding.
I couldn't recommend Rachel Scott Couture enough; I have already advised my friend to visit the shop to get their dress.
I loved my wedding and this was vastly down to Rachel Scott Couture.

I would not recommend Rachel Scott couture. I bought my wedding dress there (over £2,000) and trusted her with the alterations (over £100). While the dress seemed to fit in the shop I found on the wedding day that the dress did not fit at all once it was done up properly. This caused me no end of upset on the day. Importantly, I actually told two friends about Rachel Scott who also bought their wedding dresses there - they had exactly the same problem!! I don't know if the problem is with Rachel or with Freya Designs - where the alterations are done - but please be very careful if you choose your dress from her boutique.
