Violin for my 11 year old son!

Visited J P Guiver today, beautiful old music shop just off Regent Street north of Oxford Street. I needed a violin for my 11 year old son who is starting violin lessons on Saturday. His tutor recommended this shop to me and I am very grateful to her as I needed to find a violin in a very short space of time. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful and advised me to renti a violin for 4 months at a very reasonable price of £28 plus vat. You can pay optional £6 insurance to cover you for any damage and they needed a £40 deposit which is refundable at the end of the period of rental. They also told me that if I wished to purchase the violin for my son they would credit up to 2 periods of rental against the purchase price. I think this is an excellent deal. They also offer repair service and were advising another customer whilst I was there.
