I love Laduree macaroons but I don't love going to West London - yes Knightsbridge is west enough for me. But it is worth it for their fabulous macaroons. the only macaroons I'm not really into are the liquorice ones, but apart from that I'm up for anything. Just remember macaroons don't last very long - I never understand why people buy them in their masses unless they are having a party?!? HOW DO THEY EAT THEM ALL?!

The afternoon tea isn't all that. You literally get two tiny sandwiches, but then I guess you can fill up on sugar in the shape of pastries and cakes. They have some really good floral teas - I had a violet number which was gorgeous.

In the winter, don't sit by the door, it's uber drafty. But for a real treat hit the Le Bar in Paris.

Im an avid supporter of the afternoon tea phenomonen...however...after taking a friend to Laduree for morning tea...i may just be converted.

Hot Chocolate here is so good. In that Spanish, thick not too sugary but just perfect washed down with pain au chocolat at 10.30am...

yep, i may be converted and start reviewing morning teas...

Hot choc and pastry around 5 pounds and hands down 100% better than any pret imposter..

Gorgous surroundings feels exactly how i wanted to feel as a little girl dreaming of french patisserie s on a sunday afternoon

Go here on a sunny weekend for lunch and sit outside and be entertained by the various SW3 characters and their cars. And try the Laduree club sandwich!
