36 - Big Fat Nothing!

Watched the 36-nil whitewashing of England Rugby Team by the Springboks in the World Cup here. Needless to say the atmosphere was superb in this SA home-from-home bar. Friends organised to hire out the downstairs bit at the back, which opens onto the Volleyball court and Braai area, We all chucked in a tenner and it included a lamb-on-the-spit braai and 2 kegs of lager which like me was drunk by half-time! Supposed to be 100 of us more like 150 turned up so there was money over for the cash-bar in the second half.

They sometimes let in too many people, but definitely recommended for Saffa's in London.

This place is huge.

It has about 3 different floors, suiting just about every South African sterotype, on a sunny day they even open up an massive outside section, have a game of v-ball going on and serve some boere rolls.

They also serve some ice cold Castle lager. Charles!

On a sports day, for example England plays against South Africa at say rugby. This place transforms into stadium like atmosphere, big screens everywhere, aaah, Shoshaloza...I blessed the rains down in Africa...

If you're keen to get in with the dirty saffer crowd pull in..my bru.
