I went to kimantra after hearing about it from a friend. Its in a great location so was very easy to get to.
Me and a girlfriend wanted a nice relaxing girlie weekend, and we was not disappointed!!
We started off our day with the consultation, my therapist made me a herbal tea whilst he did my consultation, as it was a very cold day.... we then went on to have a half hour hot bath, with champagne and chocolates! I then went on to have a 90 minute hot stone massage, which was heaven! My therapist made we feel very relaxed as he thoroughly explained the treatment as it was my first hot stone massage.
After the massage my therapist left the room so as i could get dressed and then brought me a glass of water.
Me and my friend then went on to have a luxury manicure which our therapists kindly set up in the same room for us, so the four of us had a nice girlie chat!
Overall the experience was brilliant and i would definately recommend it to any1!!!!

My husband had very kindly booked the roof top bath for me as a Birthday present. I don't think so. Its a room 3 steps up from the top of the stairs with a big dorma window in the ceiling to let the light in, hardly a bath on the roof. Unfortunately when I got there I was very disappointed. The floor didn't look like it had been cleaned before I arrived and there were remnants of bath salts or scrub type particles all over the floor.
I had a Hot Stone Massage, but it was terrible. I had experienced them in more exclusive spas and fell in love with the treatment. However, when I visited Kimantra, I was not given a spinal layout as there were not enough stones. I also did not have any cold stones applied as the spa does not have any !!! I asked the therapist why this was the case and she said that the boss would not pay for stones as they were expensive. The charge for a Hot Stone Massage is £85. I was amazed and appalled.
The manager tried her best to fob me off, but I just gritted my teeth and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Its just a bit to sloppy and fake for me.

My tip for getting rid of London stress is to try Kimantra Bathing on the roof followed by 1 hour massage package. A must for all stressed out Islingtonians .

I've just had a hot stones massage here. It was a birthday gift that I've been sitting on for months. On the spur of the moment, I made the appointment and went this afternoon. Feeling a bit Januaryish and with a slight cold.
Frighteningly, when I arrived, they said - oh, you're here for your Hollywood Wax? I shrieked no, just a massage. As the receptionist said, they're very different. We got things straight very quickly.
Now, I don't know whether it's cos I said it was a birthday gift, or whether it was just my lucky day, but my therapist gave me an absolutely awesome full body hot stones massage, over an hour, rather than the 30 mins I was due. It was blissful. It's an upmarket spa - the prices reflect that - but if you can afford to splash out once in a while, wow, I like this place.
Apparently, it's recently had a refurb and they have a mega bath on the roof ---- I'd definitely go back for more pampering.

Ok, so I've been there a few times and in the beginning, the woman that massaged me was fab. My cousin had a treatment there and she hated it. She also had a pedicure and it was rubbish too. Despiter her bad experience, I kept going and then my lady quit. I went again with the hopes of finding a good massuese and no such luck. I was so desperate to get a massage I went back and this new woman was AMAZING! She healed the past wounds. When I went to get another massage, she ended up quitting. That was the final straw. I won't go back there again. If you want some raw juices, knock yourself out but if you want a really good massage and pedicure or facial, I'd look elsewhere.
