Alright pizza, dubious delivery

I quite like Basilico pizza - their vegetarian stuff has always satisfied me and by the 13" which hits the hungry spot. But it was most amusing when their delivery guy approached my flat and threw my bottle of red wine down the stairs, splattering the entire fascia of my white painted flat with splatters of rioja. I felt sorry for him and offered to just ring up the office and get the ££ taken off the bill. But he insisted on giving me cash to go to the offy with because it was the SECOND BOTTLE he'd destroyed in that way, that evening, and didn't want to get fired.

Pretty Terrible Pizza

We ordered takeaway from Basilico last night and man was it shit. I had the Americana: spicy pepperoni, green peppers, onion, chopped tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and mozzarella. Let’s see, the dough was like rubber, literally had to yank with my mouth to take a bite. The sauce was bland, bland, bland. There were hardly any toppings, which not only sucks for tasting good, but sucks for value. Speaking of value it cost £12.25 for a 13”, crazy money.
