Sushi in Tooting

People associate Tooting with curry restaurants but you will be pleasantly surprised to find this excellent Japanese restaurant located right next to Tooting Bec tube station. The food is great value especially if you take advantage of the early bird special and dine before 7.30pm. My personal favourite is the Tori-Age Bento box which is a mixture of teriyaki chicken and maki rolls. Whilst the minimalist decor and tables spaced far apart do not particularly evoke romance, this place is good for couples and groups alike as it has Japanese style sunken tables which add a bit of fun too.
