I bought a deal with living social for a full hour long body massage and 30 minutes facial treatment. We booked at 3 pm on Sunday 09/10/2011 we arrived on time, the staff asked us to wait for 5 minutes but we waited for 15-20 minutes before they were ready to begin the treatment. Some of the staff cannot speak or understand English well.

Basically we had a poor massage for 40 minutes instead of 1 hour and one of the staff gave me a facial treatment by scrubbing my face quite vigorously. I asked her to stop and be more gently...she could not understand and my face was sore and red ( still red today). After that she put a mask on my face, even in my nose. After 10 minutes, that was it!!

I would definitely not recommend this place for a massage or a facial treatment.

Worst massage/facial ever!!

Kept waiting for 20mins. The treatment rooms were not even rooms but makeshift areas separated by temporary partitions. As none of the outside noise from the salon was filtered out by the partitions - all through my treatment I could hear women yelling across the salon at each other, plus 3 different phones ringing. Inside the room there was no music playing to drown out the noise, but bizarrely there was an alarm clock which ticked loudly 4 times per second - felt like I was in an exam! The therapist had absolutely no idea what she was doing, and just rubbed lotion on to me, poking and slapping me periodically. Although very sweet and smiley to me directly, during my treatment she belched repeatedly, huffed and puffed, kept leaving the room, and even answered her mobile when it rang. After 25mins she announced she was in a hurry to leave and that someone else would come and do my facial – and with that she ran out of the room. There was yelling outside the treatment room, and a few moments later she reappeared mumbling about having to stay, and that she would do my facial now. I tried to explain to her that I had paid for a 60min massage, and that I’d only had 25mins but all of a sudden she couldn’t understand English, and I got so frustrated trying to explain, that I just gave up and let her procede with the facial. Again she had no idea what she was doing, she just kept rubbing layer after layer of the same lotion on to my face, and tweaking my nose. Worst salon experience ever, I’ve been more relaxed stuck in traffic!! As I left I just had to laugh to myself, soooo bad!

I would like to make a complaint against the above salon that I recently bought a voucher to, using the ‘Group –on’ website.
Having used your website (which I love and have bought a few great deals now) I decided to ‘pamper’ myself to a full body massage and facial. The offer was fantastic and being a spa in the city (near Baker street) I thought this was a really well deserved ‘treat’.

After phoning (a few times.. as no one answers the phone and leaving messages doesn’t help as you don’t get called back) I eventually got an appointment yesterday at 11:00.

Very excited as I have had an incredibly hard work week, I walked into the salon – no one was at the reception but there were 2 x customers waiting on the couches and another 2 getting their eye brows threaded. The ‘therapist’ threading one of the customers brows shouted across the salon asking me what I was there for. A little impersonal also there was no back ground music (not relaxing like a spa/ salon should be) and we were all there for 11:00 appointments. So there was now 5 of us for an 11:00 appointment and 2 ‘therapists’.

The ‘therapist’s’ where dressed in their own clothes no uniforms or even looking like therapists should. Their hair was loose and looking incredibly shabby – not hygienic at all.
I was then told by the manager – that I would have to wait another 25mins – as there weren’t enough therapists. It was now 11:45.

One of the treatment doors opened and the ‘therapist’ walked out of the room leaving the door wide open and a customer undressed as the customer was not happy with the massage she was getting and ran out of the room really upset at the treatment she was getting.
The ‘therapist’ then argued with the customer in front of us.

After this I was left to feel incredibly disappointed (not having received the treatment I thought I was going to get) as well as concerned as having looked into the treatment rooms – there was hair on the floor, old towels to lie on and I was disgusted at the treatment I and the other customers received.

Used a groupon deal for threading - 1 hour massage and 30 minute facial was booked by me and a friend for 1300 Arrived and the place looked a bit tired but staff seemed friendly enough. Had the threading - no complaints. Went to massage room and prepared - 30 minutes later still no therapist! Eventually they started on my mate. After 50 minutes I got fed up dressed and spoke to reception - she said - 'well we told you we were running late' at NO time was this communicated and a little late is not near on an hour! Cutting a long story short - massage lotion (was it olive oil???) Facial - tesco's products? Therapists whispering throughout. Overall we should have had 1 hour 30 mins of treatments and had 1 hour. (if that!) Reception also completey blanked us when we left - NO apology. Chatted to a lady after in a local restaurant and she said again how downhill this place has got. Always over booking!

Jannat - sheer heaven and London's best kept secret, but not anymore as the cat is out of the bag!

Best brow and full face threading I have ever had which was absolutely painfree. My eyebrows have never looked better and fuller with a fantastic arch which has changed my face completely as I look incredily glamourous.

Our group is always in and out of Jannat as they have fabulous therapists, therapies, tranquil and friendly atmosphere and decor which is very spiritual and holistic.

They also run free meditation classes every other Thursday as their etos is that beauty begins from inside.

Wow.
