Pretty much agree with what the other guys said. Awesome supermarket and food to go or eat in as well.

The Katsu Don is super good, which I just polished off two minutes ago. The vegetable croquets are also nice. The vegetable changes from time to time.

I like eating in there best when it's pouring with rain outside. I alwasy feel like I'm not in England...

Great Bento Boxes!

Yup - as Charles says, this is pretty damn fine. I was in there to grab some things to make handrolls and ended up there for lunch.

Great Chicken Teriyaki bento boxes - far more delicious, tastier and cheaper than horrible nasty and over priced Wasabi. Definitely try it out - the kitchen is open plan and you can see all the action including the intense sushi guy.

Pocky! Pocky! Pocky!

Arigato or 'thanky you' in Japanese is completely my favorite Japanese supermarket in London.

They have a great sushi / food bar where you can get fair priced sushi to eat in or a range of bento boxes, chicken karaage or gyoza.

The best thing about this place is the sweets fridge where they have a massive selection of Japanese treats including Pocky. If you don't know Pocky its bread sticks covered in different chocolate - sometimes you get strawberry pocky or sometimes dark chocolate or sometimes you get 'Men's' pocky which is dark chocolate with banana underneath - anyway this place always has the freshest flavors of Pocky.
