Great views and drinks (at a price)

Well-to-do business friend in town who wants to take you out for a drink on the company’s tab? Hesitate no more. Located on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane, Galvin at Windows is a bar with truly innovative cocktails, great service, “free” tapas with your drinks, and the best view in London. You definitely get what you pay for. That being said, it is not outrageously priced for a celebration drink, and while it is definitely smart, it is not too stiffly posh to bear. I also heard that the Queen is not a fan of the unique views of her palace offered by this venue. So give her a little courtesy wave if you go.

(Note: this is a tip for the bar, not the restaurant under the same name on the same floor!)
