i dont think its a scam either

i looked at some of my friends facebook pictures and saw that a few of them had had a modeling shoot done. They looked so good i was a bit jealous....i decided to go with a few friends also and have them done. I heard that they had them done at double take studios, so i done abit of research to find a out abit about the company. there were mixed reviews some saying that they were a scam or a con or rip off. But i talked to my friends about it and they said it would be fine.

so we went there...i was expecting a run down old place that might look a quite dodgy. but actually i couldnt have been further from reality. ITS MASSIVE. like all modern and new looking and theres a great fun atmosphere around the place. everyone is really nice, and treats you very well. we were created with champagin and some nibbles before we were taken to discuss what we wanted done, like what hair style and studio setting we want. Then you are taken and given the full beatuy works. hair, makeup, massage. after that its the photoshoot. i was really nervous about this bit because id never done it before. but my photographer made me fell so at ease and gave me loads of help so that i looked good in the photos. Also having my friends there helped abit because were all pritty close so if i made a fool of myself we could just laugh about it later.

THe photos were amazing. i wanted them all so bad. we had a viewing of them on a big plazma screen after they had been touched up and air brushed. they were just so amazing. they were quite steep in price but they did offer us a few good pricing deals but agian i just couldnt afford them at the moment. but maybe for my birthday ill go again and by then i should have enough money.

a real great day... a proper girly day out. thanks to everyone who made it special.

Be wary...

Not entirely a scam.

The makeover is rushed as are the photo sessions. You are not given enough time to enjoy the experience.

Rushed into the review room and if you decide not to purchase a photo, the tension and chill in the air becomes palpable.

You are then cast out of the room and subsequently the building without much of a chance to remove the inch-thick layer of slap they put on you.

Not the best day I've had but can't say it was the worst either. Make sure you go with your eyes open and not get fooled into purchasing over-posed and unoriginal photos.

i was skeptical at first about doubletake because a lot similar companies can be complete scam. But doubletake are not like those rip off studis. I had such a good time. never done anything like this before so was not knowing what to expect. But my expectations were met and them some. Would recommend it to any girl and probably some guys to. hope everyone has as good of day as me. good luck

not a scam....what a great day

It was my 21st birthday and i was given a present which was an photography experience at double take studios. Id never heard of the double take studios before but a few of my friends had been to simular things and said it was a great day out.

When i first walked in i was treated really nice by everyone and made to feel important. I was then whisked of to the beauty area to prepare me for teh shoot. All the stylists and artists were really good at there job they done exactly what i wanted and the make up girl even gave me some advice about how to use darker colour around my eyes which im definately going to use in the future because it gives them more shape and makes me look quite dramatic.

The photographer was really cool he made me feel really at ease. If he hadnt of been there i would of been lost but he told me how to pose and where to put my hands. I wasnt sure how it would look but he was confident they would turn out good.

I then went to a room and saw the final product in a slide show on a big plasma TV. I was amazed-shocked-stunned-overwhelmed with how good they were. I wanted to take them all home with me. i ended up leaving with the silver saver CD which i was happy with. So overall i had a great experience and i got some great photos as a memento for the day, and i can always look at them to see how i was when i was 21.

finally when i was writing this review i saw some negative thing about DTS and don't know if we are talking about 2 different companies but the one i went to was fabulous
