Leon is an award winning fast food outlet selling natural, good food, from spicy lamb wraps to mezze. The food is of a high standard and is served with the same efficiency as the big fast food chains. They also have an eat-in section at the back, and are open for lunch and dinner.

Leon London Reviews

Lemon Leon - After a healthy superfood meal Leon -to keep the balance- tempts with unhealthy, high in sugar and saturated fat lemon cheesecake. As unhealthy and bad for any waist it is, I would just KILL for it!

Crunchy cake bottom + heavenly melting delicious top
is never enough.

Any cheesecake monster knows what i'm talking about.
Must-eat and again and again!

The Leon Superfood Diet - I decided recently to make a few changes in my life (more on this later); one of which is to eat better in an effort to lose weight (a stone’d be nice). So today I went to Leon, had the Grilled Chicken Superfood Salad, and think this might the best thing in the world for me right now.

For starters the thing is pretty small so I know I’m not going over eat. And what’s there is all pretty healthy: quinoa, broccoli, peas, sprouts, tomato, chicken and lettuce, has a light yogurt dressing and a squeeze of fresh lemon. And besides the obvious health benefits, it tastes awesome. The only bummer is it costs £5.40 (takeaway) £6.35 (eat in), maybe someone can explain that…

So here’s what I have in mind – I’m going to eat this same salad everyday for the next 2-3 weeks and report back on how I’m feeling and any weight loss.

Make room for mushroom baps - Decent breakfasts are always difficult for veggies - unless you've got 1) pots of money and 2) lots of time for a big hotel breakfast.

Unless you're near a Leon that is - and the one in Spitalfields is particularly good. The best mushroom bap in London... and a really nice location too. Easy to meet friends or even better for a breakfast meeting.

Thoroughly recommended.

infuriatingly good - Ugh - ever since I first stepped foot into the Carnaby Street Leon a few years ago I've had beef with them - I don't know why, perhaps its the tone of voice that they use, everything is so AWESOME and ORGANIC and FREERANGE and SUPERFOOD - ugh seriousy leave me alone!

Anyway I begrudgingly met some friends for lunch the other day and you know what, I had an awesome mackeral superfood salad thing and it was really nice, super tasty in fact AND it only cost like £3.50!!!

I held my tongue though and didn't tell anyone that I'd maybe changed my mind - that was until I went again and had a chicken, alfalfa salad thing that cost like £4.50 and was completely delicious - I'm so annoyed at them proving me wrong - I still find the decor a bit 'authentic' and the choice of copy on the their menus is annnoying but you have to hand it to them - the food actually is AWESOME.

Surprisingly good and cheap - At first I thought to myself "this is suckersville". Full of tourists and financial types mingling in an over-sized food court. But we were starving and decided to go with there anyway.

At first I was taken aback by the moderate prices. I figured I'm either going to end up at a kabab shop later from starvation or end up sick in the hospital the next day.

But I gotta tell ya... it was good. I got the Chili con Carne with brown rice and it really hit the spot.

The staff was friendly, they had a nice seating area outside and overall the experience was very enjoyable.

I definitely recommend it.

The sun's not yellow it's chicken - I love Leon. Actually, I only have a mild crush on the Knightsbridge location as I don’t like the packaging they use (I think they get Pret’s castoffs, which is suspiciously next door), but I consider it a distant, rogue, bourgeois half cousin of the Soho and Shoreditch locations I know so well. Everything is good. Yes, it’s quick take-away, but they execute with such efficiency and style. The chicken is free range and tender but not too lean. The salads are clean and fresh. And the daily specials, like a curry pea stew that’s an instant handover cure, are delicious and filling.

Have you even been to Starbucks and felt like no one really cares at all about the product? Or wait, that’s EVERY TIME I go into Starbucks. And these are people who are handling your food. Gross. Leon is the opposite. You feel as if the guy behind the counter actually met and loved the chicken in the sandwich you’re about to consume. And strangely, it’s a reassuring feeling.
