Ha Ha bar is one of the many bars and pubs near to where I work but not one that I frequent regularly, mainly due to the steep prices. It is a very nicely presented, modern bar which has a restaurant area up stiars.

The bar itself can get quite busy and the service can be slow. This is mainly due to people ordering cocktails which are obviously time consuming to make! It's not a bad place for a quick Friday drink before heading off somewhere else though!

The restaurant upstairs is also usually fairly full. The atmosphere is lively and the views of people walking below you in Cardinal Place are quite good! You can also see the kitchen where your food is prepared which is a nice touch. The waiters vary from over-enthusiastic Children's TV presenter types to very quiet mumbling girl's who shuffle over with your food and shuffle away again!

The choice of food is pretty good, but also pretty expensive! Most main meals are £10+ which is pricey compared to other pubs around the area. They have just introduced a new lunchtime menu which consists of various sandwiches and chips that are more reasonably priced and don't take quite so long to prepare. Last week, myself and a friend opted for this menu and it wasn't too bad. I had a fish finger sandwich (£6), while he went for a steak sandwich (£7). They were both served with chips and salad and were ok for a quick lunch.

HaHa Bar is an ok venue overall. The bar downstairs is good for cocktails and the restaurant is alright if you are wiling to pay a little extra.
