Just to add to Mike W's review, Boyd himself is an absolute sweetheart. I've been dragged in there to watch my friend shop before - not the most fun for a girl. Boyd opened up a bottle of champagne so I, ahem, had something to do while I waited for my friend to pick out fabrics etc. He then showed us how to tie bow-ties and was generally charming.

I can't comment on the quality of the shirts, but Alexander Boyd is a total gem and the absolute antithesis of identikit shop staff with no personality.

Shirts Best Kept Secret

A stunning little shirt shop that i have been using now for 3 years. First I tried their ready to wear shirts which are all made in their own factory - which they tell me is one of the last left in England. My wife then bought me a bespoke shirt for christmas 2 years ago and I'm now a bespoke convert - you realise how badly the majority of shirts fit (although Alexaner Boyd's ready to wear fit is one of the best). I guess once you go bespoke you don't go back...
Try them out if your in the Spitalfields area. You won't be disappointed.
